Ali Seyedahmadian Senior Design Engineer, Eventscape NYC  

Ali Seyedahmadian is a senior design engineer at Eventscape A+D at their Long Island City facility in New York, where he leads the advanced manufacturing department. He holds a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Michigan and has worked primarily in custom fabrication for art, architecture and design. Prior to joining Eventscape, he was the project manager at Neoset Designs, a robotic fabrication studio specializing in art fabrication, and the co-director of the robotic and digital fabrication department at Quarra Stone Company, an industry leader in the digital and robotic fabrication of stone. Chris Palmer Senior Manager, Advanced Technology Services, PCL Construction

Chris leads PCL Construction's Advanced Technology Services team, which includes oversight of Cybersecurity, Networking, and Technology Architecture and Solutions.  His team supports the strategic implementation and innovative advancement of information technology and security programs within the PCL family of companies. Dr. Sheryl Staub-French Professor of Civil Engineering and Associate Dean of EDI, UBC  

Sheryl is a Professor of Civil Engineering and Associate Dean of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She is Director of the BIM TOPiCS Lab where she leads research to support the digital delivery of sustainable building projects through the collaborative use of building information modelling (BIM). She has contributed more than 100 papers in leading journals and conferences on BIM and topics related to the technological and organizational issues associated with its implementation. Soojung Kim Design Technology Specialist, Innovation Office, Stantec 

Soo is a Design Technology Specialist at Stantec and is highly interested in improving design/delivery workflow efficiencies by leveraging design data with BIM technologies and computational design. She’s currently supporting the Buildings, Water, Environmental Services and Transportation groups by developing design automation/generation tools. Soo has a background in civil engineering and project/construction management, and her previous experiences include working as a construction manager and BIM manager.
