Afternoon Roundtable - Making Technology Work: Innovation, Integration, and Industry Readiness

The session will explore digital transformation, including the integration of tools for data, scheduling, and performance, as well as emerging innovations such as AI and digital modelling. Participants will share perspectives on market readiness, risk, and the practical adoption of technology, with a focus on aligning solutions to real industry needs and improving overall project outcomes.

This interactive roundtable workshop brings together owners, consultants, contractors, regulators and industry representatives to explore the evolving role of technology in project delivery. Through facilitated small-group discussions, participants will share experiences, practical insights, and perspectives on the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of construction.

The session will begin with brief remarks to help spark the table discussions, featuring Ritu Ahuja providing the contractor perspective, Bachar Khawajah the owner perspective, and Brey Tucker the consultant perspective.

Each table will have a facilitator and recorder to guide and support the dialogue. Discussion themes and key insights will be documented and consolidated into a white paper, which will be shared with attendees and BCCR members following the event.
