Defence Construction Canada is busy in BC!

Defence Construction Canada (DCC) has exciting projects and contracting opportunities across BC. The BC Construction Roundtable welcomes Danny Gruner, Regional Director, Pacific Region at DCC for an insightful discussion via zoom on:

  • DCC's mandate and newly established Pacific Regional Office
  • Overview of contracting opportunities in BC
  • How industry can engage with DCC

Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is a Crown corporation that provides innovative and cost-effective contracting, construction contract management, infrastructure and environmental services, and lifecycle support for Canada's defence requirements. Its Client-Partners are the Assistant Deputy Minister Infrastructure and Environment (ADM IE) Group at the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Communications Security Establishment (CSE).

About our presenters:

Danny Gruner, BSc, MBA, Regional Director, Pacific

From 2015 to 2018, Danny filled the dual roles of Regional Service Line Leader, Real Property Management Services, and Manager, Real Property Operations Support. She was appointed to lead DCC’s new Pacific Region in 2022. Danny holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alberta.


Angelica Solyom, Regional Service Line Leader Contract Services

Angie became a Project Technical Specialist in 2015 for the Pacific Regional Real Property Operations Support until 2018. Following this she took on a Team Leader role for Project and Environmental Services until 2022. Angie was successfully recruited as the Regional Service Line Leader for Contract Services in DCC’s new Pacific Region in 2022.  Angie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Victoria and a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Practice from Royal Roads University.
