Talent Crisis: The Predicted Knowledge Shortage Has Arrived

The labour and knowledge shortage resulting from the aging population is consistently being identified as one of the most significant industry issues. This issue is compounded with a need for technological and digital advancements in the construction industry. We also know that increasing diversity in the E&C industry improves productivity and staff engagement, and results in more sustainable long term growth for companies and individuals. Notwithstanding that the convergence of all of these issues and challenges was predicted, it appears that not enough is being done to respond to the threat proactively.

Come and join our panelists to hear what practical steps are being taken by leaders in our industry to address these issues. Engage with other E&C leaders and discuss topics such as the mindset shift that needs to occur to extract full value from digital disruption, the organizational set-up that is needed to promote knowledge transfer and the adoption of new technologies, and creating a culture that embraces change and diversity and motivates a new generation of E&C leaders.
